Skull Counts--News and Rumors for August 2007

Confirmed

The "Warchiefs of the Apocalypse" EP cover is finally finished, and the CD is currently in production.  We plan on making it available to you, our minions, in mid-Septermber through our website, and also other websites like CD Baby.  Don't worry all you who won or pre-ordered CDs; we haven't forgotten you and your long awaited discs are coming!

Confirmed

Lukacs the Illustrious travelled to GenCon Indy once again this year to proselytize the wicked and Con-vert new minions to the cause of oRcish Domination of this puny human realm.  We'd like to welcome the many new minions to the cause and urge you to keep oRcin' on!!!

Confirmed

The blood has been spilled and the contracts signed.  Grimpire Entertainment and A Band of Orcs have teamed up with www.SPFXMasks.com to bring the oRcs to life on stage.  Now doesn't that make you wanna use the demand box on the oRcs' homepage and DEMAND that the oRcs come pillage your town?!?!?!?  Do it now www.abandoforcs.com

We will use the results of the Demand Box to plan the oRcs tours and shows so get to it!

Confirmed

Gor'Roc Skullcrusher has won the news column re-naming contest with "Skull Counts."  However, I also chose to use "the Montly Plunder" by (P)aul as the name of the monthly sale item column, and the "Breaking (and Crushing) News for the website.  Good job winners, you all get t-shirts and CDs, while the top- 10 have already received their stickers! Although, I am a whimsical Grimp and I thought that "Skull Counts" would make a better fan-of-the-month or monthly proselytzing column title!  That idea is in development, so stay tuned. I'm even willing to take your suggestions, if you have any.

Rumor

Gogog Bloodthroat captured by wood-elves in the homeworld?  Or was it trolls?  We don't know; he hasn't returned from the raid yet, but Filth and the others have.  It's completely possible that he got totally wasted on rot-gut and missed the inter-dimensional portal that would have returned him to oRc Tower.  We need a few good adventurers to go retrieve him before the oRcs first live show....

Rumor

A Band of Orcs were supposed to play with Machinehead at the Catalyst on September 5, 2007.  Alas, my minions, it is true that Numbskull Productions had given the oRcs the thumbs up for the show, but I did not deem the oRcs quite civilized enough to debut yet, not without significant loss of human life.  But I'm working on 'em.  Anyway, if you're from the Bay Area, especially Santa Cruz, you should go to this show and demonstrate to the Catalyst that metal has a place in the Santa Cruz scene.  Besides, Machinehead fuckin' rips!!!!  Here's the flyer for that show
